UVSee Monitor Privacy Policy

Introduction

Spatial Sense LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the UVSee Monitor application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our UVSee Monitor application on iPad.

Information We Collect

Camera and Video Data

UVSee Monitor processes video feeds from connected UVC cameras, HDMI capture devices, and built-in iPad cameras. We want to be clear about how this visual data is handled:

• All camera feed processing occurs locally on your device
• Video streams are not transmitted to our servers
• Recorded videos are saved only to your local Photos library
• LUT processing occurs entirely on-device using Metal acceleration
• We do not access, store, or retain any camera footage

Audio Data

When recording with audio enabled, UVSee Monitor captures audio from your iPad's built-in microphone:

• Audio is processed and encoded locally on your device
• Audio recordings are saved only to your local Photos library
• We do not transmit or store any audio data

LUT Files

Custom LUT files (.cube format) that you import are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any external servers.

User Preferences

The App stores your settings and preferences locally on your device, such as:

• Grid overlay preferences (style, color, opacity, line width)
• Aspect ratio guide settings
• LUT selections and intensity settings
• Recording preferences
• Interface customizations

Permissions Required

UVSee Monitor requires the following permissions to function:

• Camera: Required for UVC camera access and built-in camera usage
• Microphone: Required for audio recording (optional feature)
• Photo Library - Add Only: Required for saving recorded videos

How We Use Your Information

Since UVSee Monitor operates entirely locally, we do not use, process, or have access to any of your personal information, video content, audio recordings, or LUT files. All processing stays on your device.

Data Security

Your data never leaves your iPad. By design, UVSee Monitor processes all video, audio, and color data locally using Metal-accelerated processing, ensuring maximum privacy and security. There is no network communication to external servers for any user content.

Third-Party Services

UVSee Monitor does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data collection services. The App operates completely independently.

Children's Privacy

UVSee Monitor is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal information for us to provide, correct, or delete. All your video recordings, LUT files, and preferences are stored locally on your device and can be managed through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since UVSee Monitor does not collect, store, or sell any personal information, these rights are automatically preserved.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
